This is a special "low noise" modified unit. When I opened it up the first time, I found someone had added large filter caps for both the preamp and EQ sections. As well as an EMI line filter, and a pair of chokes on the DC side. It initially tested at 103dB S/N, which is about 5dB better that usual stock figures. After my additional mods and new parts, it now tests at 106.7 dB relative to 2V. A very quiet machine! Combined with new sliders and paint, this is a beautiful piece.
This model is a preamp and equalizer combination with Differential-Comparator and phono Cartidge-Match systems. It has Auto-Bridge which allows bridging with any common amp setup.
